What is the difference between mild and medium? |

The difference between mild and medium is that the former refers to food that is not spicy, while the latter refers to food that has a little bit of spice.

The distinction between mild and medium as adjectives

mild is soft and difficult to arouse, while medium is (obsolete) arithmetically average.

Is mild the same as medium, and vice versa?

“Mild” denotes tameness. There is no burn at all, with a scoville rating of 0. “Medium” = very mild, no discernible burn, tastes like a dash of black pepper was applied, and has a very low scoville rating. “Hot” means mild, with just a teeny-tiny touch of heat in the dish.

Second, which is hotter: mild or original? Between the Original and Mild, there’s no way to determine which is spicier based on the ingredients or can marks. Because Mild doesn’t seem right, I always go for the Original. It should mention “Medium” if it’s hotter/spicier!
