What are Panda Express noodles made of? |

When it comes to Chinese food, there is a saying that goes, “If you eat it, you’re Chinese.” In other words, the food we eat has a direct correlation to where we are from, and where we come from has a direct correlation to our food.

Blending Asian flavors, Panda Express offers a variety of delicious, distinctive Asian food options to suit any taste. From sweet and savory Chow Mein and fried rice to spicy Kung Pao and peanut butter chicken, the options at Panda Express are endless.

In Chinese, pandas are known as “Wu”, and “Wu” is the Chinese word for noodles. I wanted to dig into that connection, so I decided to eat at a Panda Express in the San Gabriel Valley. Stir Fried Wheat Noodles, onions, celery, and cabbage are used in Panda Express’s Chow Mein recipe. The main advantage of preparing this at home is that you can use considerably less oil than you would at a restaurant.
