Culver’s is the one fast food restaurant that many people can honestly boast about. It’s a family owned restaurant that specializes in hamburgers and other fast food items. The restaurant was introduced in Wisconsin in 1938, and today there are more than a few hundred locations across the nation.

I am not a food critic and I don’t pretend to be. At best, I am a brief commentator on what I consider to be some of the best food in the country. Culver’s, a fast food chain from Wisconsin, has been a permanent fixture in the Midwestern fast-food landscape since 1994.

If you ask me, Culver’s is fast food. I know, I know, “fast food” is a very subjective term. But if you think about it, Culver’s is probably the quintessential fast food chain. It’s a restaurant that serves hamburgers, french fries, and custard (in that order). These are the main ingredients of a fast food chain, and they are also the reason that Culver’s is so successful.. Culver Franchising System, Inc., d/b/a Culver’s, is a privately owned and operated casual fast food restaurant chain based in the Midwest of the United States. Culver’s first restaurant debuted in Sauk City, Wisconsin, in 1984, and the company is now based in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.
