What does dairy equipment mean? |

The dairy industry is a large and important part of the economy. Dairy equipment includes many different pieces that are used to produce milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, and other dairy products.

Kosher dairy is a process of making dairy products that are allowed under Jewish dietary law. This means no meat or fish, and the use of only certain types of animals. Read more in detail here: what does kosher dairy mean.

What Does DE (Dairy Equipment) Stand For? The DE mark, which stands for “Dairy Equipment,” indicates that a hot product, although pareve in nature, was made on equipment that was also used to make hot dairy products, with no kosherization in between.

So, what does the K Dairy sign stand for?

The “K” or kosher sign denotes that the food production process was supervised by a rabbi who, in theory, verified that it complied with Jewish dietary rules. It is possible that the meal does not include both dairy and meat, but it may have one or the other.

Also, what exactly is kosher dairy? Milk and milk products from kosher animals are kosher and dairy, including milk, butter, yogurt, and all hard, soft, and cream cheese.
