One of the perks of being a Whole Foods Market associate is the on-the-job culinary training. Since everyone at the company is an aspiring chef, they’re constantly teaching us how to make a wide variety of dishes. Last summer, they taught me how to make a Whole Foods lobster cake. There’s a lot of steps, but it’s not that hard once you get the hang of it.

There are many ways to make a lobster cake, but I have to say this is probably one of the easiest. If you are a lobster fan, I’m sure you will love this recipe. It’s a little bit of a departure from a traditional lobster cake recipe, but I guarantee you that once you try it you will want to experiment with variations.

I’ve never been especially fond of whole foods.  I tend to think that’s just because  I don’t know very much about them, and they scare me a little bit.  I tend to think that one of the most crucial parts of food is the packaging, and that’s why I like to buy my groceries from the store, so I know what exactly I’m getting.  So I guess my issue with whole foods is that they leave things up to the imagination.  Do I want to buy my fish from the frozen section, or the deli?  How much bread do I want to buy?  It’s all up to me, so it’s kind of silly.  I
