Hardest Recipes to Prepare: Take the Challenge!

Believe it or not, some dishes have the hardest recipes to prepare, and even accomplished chefs are challenged whenever they serve these meals. Some dishes are quick and simple to prepare, just as the cooking shows show. But no, some dishes look simple but are the trickiest to prepare.

If you love to cook, take the challenge and try the hardest recipes.

Consommé

You will be surprised at how a traditional consommé looks dull yet is regarded as a luxury meal that can gauge a chef’s cooking skills. It has a light transparent soup with egg whites, stock, meat, and tomato that is simmered to bring out all its impurities. Even if it is a transparent soup, you have to master simmering and to stir to make the ideal consommé.

Flambéed

It is amazing to see chefs flambéing at restaurants. However, doing this at home is not only challenging but risky too. Flambéing requires the ignition of liquor on fire, and a little mistake can set your kitchen on fire!

Paella

Several restaurants serve paella, but there’s nothing like the authentic ones served in Spain. It takes some skill and a set of kitchenware to perfect authentic paella. You need a large round pan to make a crunchy bottom layer of rice, sauté sofrito with a mixture of herbs and seasoning, and add a wide selection of meats and crustaceans to perfect the dish.

Soufflé

The hardest part of making a soufflé is to make the beaten eggs rise like a fluffy tower. A technique to help you make your soufflé well-whipped is to beat the eggs well, leaving no air bubbles. Another tip is to store eggs at room temperature and place the soufflé at the bottom of the oven rack when baking.

Mole Poblano

Dating back to 500 years ago, Mole Poblano is already a dish with a hard recipe to prepare. Your patience will be tested like no other when making this dish. It has 20 different ingredients, and it takes several days to prepare. The outcome of this recipe is a spicy, black, thick sauce.

Fugu Puffer Fish

This recipe is the most complicated one on the list, and there is no way you can try this because this is a lethal Japanese dish. We just included this on the list to inform you about this dish.

The Fugu Puffer Fish is a Japanese dish that chefs with specialized licenses and training can only prepare. Organs of this puffer fish contain poison that is a thousand times more dangerous than cyanide.

Were the recipes really hard to do? You probably had a chaotic time in the kitchen. I hope you did not catch any stains while working on these recipes. Well, if you did, there is no need to worry. Pretreat the stains with the ingredients you have in your kitchen cabinet. After pretreating the stains, you can drop off your clothes at the laundry service or wait for your laundry hamper to fill in and have your laundry pickup and delivered.
