People are always asking the question: does MOD Pizza have cauliflower crust? MOD: MOD Pizza has had a variety of cauliflower crust at various times since the beginning. It has always been a very popular ingredient in MOD Pizza as we found that it was extremely nutritious, and people liked it. We made the original crust using cauliflower, and during that time we had our share of complaints. Some people thought it was a bit too “frappy” and “chewy” (cauliflower is not known as a “fluffy” vegetable), and some people thought it tasted like cardboard. So, over time we made adjustments and have found that the cauliflower crust is a hit with our customers.

In case you hadn’t heard, MOD Pizza is a fast-casual pizza chain that has a unique way of making its crust. They spread copious amounts of their own toppings on top of a pre-made pizza dough, cook it, then cut it into pieces and serve it. The chain is currently opening 500 stores in the next three years, and has announced that they will start having a cauliflower crust offering later this year. So, does this mean you can have your pizza and eat it, too?

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for a change. After years of circling the same block of eating, I’m fed up with the same old diet trends. What part of “lose weight” don’t you understand? MOD Pizza has come up with an interesting twist on the traditional diet trend: cauliflower crust. Both New York City and Chicago are in the process of testing these bad boys out.

MOD Pizza’s cauliflower crust isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. There are no better words to express how much pleasure it is to order a MOD Pizza. The cauliflower crust joins two existing MOD crust options: original (a 410-calorie regular pizza dough) and gluten-free (no wheat, dairy, eggs, or soy with 710 calories, via MOD).

Is MOD also known for its cauliflower crust?

Mod Pizza’s new cauliflower crust is described as a “gluten-free, veggie-powered pizza fantasy” by the company. Mod’s cauliflower crust joins the company’s other crust choices, which include original and gluten-free versions. Just keep in mind that the cauliflower crust will set you back an extra $2 per pizza.

One may also wonder how many carbohydrates a Mod Pizza cauliflower crust has. Rice flour, tapioca starch, rice starch, modified food starch, and cultured brown rice all include 84 grams of carbohydrates (albeit only 6 of these are sugars). If you’re on a low-carb, keto, or paleo diet, this cauliflower crust won’t work for you.

Is MOD Pizza’s cauliflower crust Keto-friendly, too?
