A cold, wet day at the park can ruin a nice picnic and make your food go soggy. So how do you keep food cold on a picnic? What are the best ways to keep your food cold for hours?

In my travels, I’ve dutifully driven through the mountains of Pennsylvania, byways of the West, and vast plains of the Midwest. But there is one place I haven’t yet explored: the wondrous world of the outdoors.
