8 Healthy Ways to Enjoy Peanut Butter All Day
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Everyone has that one food item that they just can’t get enough of. For some people, it’s cheese; other people use mayo with every meal. Then many of us just can’t resist a big spoon of peanut butter.

There’s no doubt about it: Peanut butter is amazing. Not only does it taste great, but it’s also packed with protein and other essential nutrients. And while there’s nothing wrong with enjoying peanut butter as a snack, there are plenty of ways to enjoy it all day long. Here are six healthy ways to do just that!

Choc Peanut Butter Bircher

If you are relatively health-conscious and want to add peanut butter to something nutritional, then you should look no further than a chocolate peanut butter bircher. The recipe for this is quite easy, and you can enjoy it after an hour of letting it soak. This can be a great brain-boosting breakfast, and if you’re wondering how to prepare it, you can find out here. All you will need is cacao powder, Greek yogurt, strawberries, rolled oats, chia seeds, peanut butter of your choice, and coconut milk.

Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Another great option for someone who is looking to stay healthy but still gets the great taste of peanut butter is to make peanut butter granola bars. While this might sound intimidating, it’s very easy, and you only need three things; oats, peanut butter, and dates. Not only do the oats give you vitamins, fiber, antioxidants, and minerals, the dates do too.

Make Your Own Peanut Butter

The biggest challenge for many people who love peanut butter, but want to stay healthy, is that healthy peanut butter can be very expensive. However, you might want to consider making your peanut butter.

By making your peanut butter at home, you can not only save money but know exactly what is going on in your body. More than this, all you need is peanuts and a blender.

Peanut Butter Brownies

If you are someone that isn’t too fussed about eating extremely healthy foods, then you should try making peanut butter brownies. Of course, you could also go the healthy approach, and there are many healthy recipes for brownies. What you want to focus on is the frosting, and for that, you just need unsalted butter, peanut butter, sugar, and flake salt.

Peanut Butter Pretzels

If you truly don’t care about healthy eating and you want to try something different, then you need to try peanut butter pretzels. Be warned, though, that there is no nutritional value to be found in pretzels. This is a quick snack to make since you just need to spread peanut butter on pretzels; it’s as simple as that. This snack can be made healthy if you are making your peanut butter or if you are using healthy peanut butter.

Peanut Butter Cookies

Is there anything better than cookies? Is there anything better than peanut butter? Yes, peanut butter cookies. These are a great snack, especially if you follow a vegan recipe, and they take about 20 minutes to make. All you need is vanilla extract, almond milk or an equivalent, gluten-free baking flour, peanut butter, baking powder, and coconut sugar. Mixing everything takes around 4 minutes, and baking the cookies takes around 16 minutes.

Bananas and Peanut Butter

For a snack that is packed with protein and is a great way to start your morning, you could have bananas with peanut butter.

This is probably the easiest of all the ways to enjoy peanut butter since you just need to smear the peanut butter on the banana. In addition to this, you can try this as a sandwich.

Salad and Peanut Butter

When you think of salads, you probably think of sweet vinegar or powdered sugar. You might even think of salad dressing or olive oil. What if you had the taste of the buttery, nutty flavor of peanuts? Well, that’s entirely possible if you mix peanut butter with salad, which is what many people do. Of course, you might be thinking that those two words shouldn’t go together; however, if you try it, it will probably become your new favorite snack.
